Can DeltaV Smart Connector and PI OPC HDA Interface coexists?

The question is simple but in order to understand the
purpose of the configuration I'll explain our intention to pursue this
configuration.

We like to automatically create PI Tags and AF Objects and
use the historical functionality of the OPC HDA Interface to mine data values
to our PI Server. It’s possible to create this architecture with those
interfaces configure together in the same PI Node or DeltaV Application
Workstation?
