Process Book - VBA - Opening a Display based on a trigger

Hi Everyone,

I want to reproduce an alarm pop-up window.

I figured that I could write a bit of VBA to open a .pdi file (which looks like an alarm pop-up) when ever a PI tag value exceeded a given limit.

Firstly, is the VBA approach the best way ?

Secondly, what would the code look like ?
