PI Process Book accessing data

Good morning!

When PI process book is retrieving data from PI database, the status bar on the bottom indicates 'retrieving data' or 'accessing data'.

The problem is that while I'm working on macros, process book do not stop to retrieve data and slow down the performance.

Is there a command in Process Book that allows to disable the 'retrieving data' functionality?
