PIAPI C example program

Good morning everyone! This is my first post on this forum and I am a new user of PI, so I hope that you will understand my problem...

We have PI system running on a Windows server. We are trying to compile and run the C sample program given in the directory C:\Program Files\PIPC\EXAMPLES\C>, we could build the this C sample but while running we get an error as follows

 

 

 

I do get same error while running with the hostname as a parameter for this sample  'apisnap hostname'. I am running this program where the PI server is installed and running. I could get the tags and values through "PI System management tool"Image may be NSFW.

Q1) Do we have to add any information on the PI system to run a program (apisnap.exe) like adding any credential or trust. If so, where and how we can add the same.
